How TurfBoss treats your Business, your Customers, and the messages that leave your shop.

Who is TurfBoss for?

TurfBoss is for lawn-care and landscaping Businesses that run recurring routes and need one place for Customers, Jobs, Quotes, and Invoices. If you mow, maintain, or landscape properties on a weekly or seasonal rhythm, you are in the intended audience.

How do I get started?

Create a Business and sign in as its Owner. You can then add Customers and schedule Jobs. Users of a Business are either Owners who administer it or Crew who perform the work.

How do recurring Jobs work?

Schedule a Job once and set its Recurrence—none, weekly, biweekly, or monthly. Completing a recurring Job spawns the next occurrence, so weekly and biweekly routes keep moving without rebuilding next week by hand.

What happens when weather threatens the schedule?

Forecast-driven Alerts notify the Business when rain, frost, heat, or snow puts scheduled Jobs at risk. An Owner reviews the Alert, decides whether to reschedule, and can send each affected Customer a Rain Delay text.

How does Customer texting work?

Reminders and Delay Notices are prepared in TurfBoss, but they never auto-send. The owner reviews each Customer Text and sends it from their own phone on the Manual Channel. Only customers with recorded SMS Consent are textable.

Do Customers need to sign in?

No. A Customer is not a User and does not sign in. Each Quote or Invoice has an Estimate Link—the secret URL that is that Customer's access to the Estimate. Anyone who has the link can view it, and can Approve or Decline if it is still an unanswered Quote.

How do I get help?

Email support@turfboss.net. For questions about a specific Job, Quote, or Invoice, the Owner of the Business that serves the Customer is the first point of contact.
